We were excited to find a house in our neighborhood that was being torn down and since we were restoring a 1907 Craftsman in Ballard we always needed something. This house had amazing box beams in one room and we coveted them for our downstairs "library." So HE couldn't figure out how to dismantle the damned things since of course they were in there tight and had been there forever. I came up with the idea of using our car jacks and wood and basically jacking them apart until we could get the sawzall in there to cut the nails. Worked like a charm! But did I ever get credit?
