Will I be Right or Will I be Wrong.........

Hola!
So, if you have been following the blog, you most likely remember seeing this, the propane tank.
When did we get it. I don't know, maybe two years ago? My memory fails me. But what I do know is there has been nothing in it but air.

While I was at History Club, Diesgas brought their truck to the house. They are the company that used to go around town playing the tune to the Good, Bad and the Ugly. They don't play that song anymore. In fact they don't play any song anymore so I never know when they are around. But they filled the tank.

Senor tells me we will have hot water by the end of the weekend. Now usually when he makes this kind of announcement, I push the actual happening out six months and sometimes I am right and sometimes I am not.

I am going to say Sunday afternoon, four pm.
will I be right or will I be wrong.........................

OK, this is huge. As you know, I'm somewhat familiar with the language style - some might call it equivocating (not me because I don't need that kind of trouble) - used by certain males I could name (but won't, here in this public forum) where project scheduling is concerned. It sounds to me like this is gonna happen. Fingers crossed ...

Now that's what I call a gas tank! Makes our poor little 30 liter one look totally inadequate! lol! But we only use it for cooking, so I guess it'll do. Hope you get your hot water quickly. We just use those electric shower heads, but man oh man, what I wouldn't give for whole house hot water! (heavy sigh!)...
The "other" Linda Lou!

We had very little water pressure in the house all through December, making it extremely difficult to bathe, wash dishes and do laundry. I did not believe Hubby or our plumber when they said we'd have running water again before the New Year. Thankfully I was wrong. I hope that you get running water sooner than later. :)

At first I thought you hadn't used it and it was still full of compressed air like when you get them new.

If it's full I don't know why it should take any time to get hot water.

That is a big tank. Mine is about 1/2 that size on the roof

Hola Linda Lou, how nice to hear from you! Everything we have will be propane (I think) well, all the big important stuff. Senor thinks we will only need to fill it 2xs a year, we will see since we are big cooks.....

Hey, Leslie, sometimes they just make it happen don't they? We have lots of running water and always have. It is just running cold......

Sparks, here is the thing. That is exactly what I meant. It has not been used and just today has been filled with propane, but it is not hooked up to anything. There are certain levels of project scheduling (what sweet words, yennifer) in the construction that have had to be met before the copper tubing could be attached to the tank and then to wherever else it has to go, through this wall or that, across this roof or that one. We are finally at that stage, I think.............I will try and show more photos manana...LL
